Clover I’ve been trapped in this van for hours. Cold, hungry, forgotten. It moved once. Briefly. Then silence. Now I’m just waiting. I wonder if they forgot about me. I tap where the driver would be on the other side. ‘Hello.’ I shout but I don’t get a reply. I don’t think anybody is there. I'm cold. It’s so cold here. My body is shaking to try and keep warm. My tummy is rumbling. I wonder how long I’ve been here. It must have been a long time. I wonder how many meals I’ve missed? Tyres pull up and I hear a noise outside but I’m still here. I wonder if the brothers know that I’ve gone yet. Will they care or will they be relieved? I’m so thirsty. I just need some water. A bang hits the outside of the van and the doors are opened. It’s bright outside, but not bright because there’s sun
