By the end of the day, Kace and I had bathed and brow-dried twelve dogs and a cat. I was glad to see he was enjoying it despite the messiness.
"It was great having you around Sayd. " Garry said as were the shelter. "I hope to see you next time Kace. "
"We'll see about that. "
"That's good enough for me."
We walked to Kace's car and as usual, Kace opened the door for me and he went around.
"So did you have a good time?" he asked me before starting the car.
"Spectacular. Thank you for bringing me here. Did you have a good time? "
