How the time moved so fast, I had no idea. One minute it was four p.m. the next it was almost seven. I took out my phone and tried to call Mera again before I could dial her number my screen went dark.

I sighed and continued to walk down the road clinging tightly to my coat. Winter had to be the worst of all for me.
From behind me, I heard the sound of a car engine running. Relief filled me and I stopped at the corner of the road hoping it was Timothy and Mera.
