As she waited in line to order, her eyes wandered around the café, taking in the vibrant atmosphere. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee filled the air, and the sound of soft music floated in the background. Rachel felt her tension melt away, replaced by a sense of calm. When it was her turn to order, Rachel smiled at the barista, a friendly young woman with a bright smile. "Hi, I'll have a cappuccino, please," Rachel said, taking a seat at the small table by the window. As she waited for her drink, Rachel noticed a guy sitting across from her, typing away on his laptop. He looked up, caught her eye, and smiled. Rachel felt a flutter in her chest, but quickly looked away, focusing on her book, she could keep her eyes off him, she kept staring. The barista brought over Rachel's drink, and as she took a sip, she couldn't help but sneak another glance at the guy. He was still typing away, but every now and then, he'd look up and catch her eye, smiling. Rachel felt a sense of excitement building up inside her like a baby. She couldn't remember the last time she'd felt this way about someone. As the evening wore on, Rachel found herself glancing over at the guy more and more, wondering who he was and what he did. "Hi, mind if I join you?" he asked, his deep voice sending shivers down Rachel's spine, she could not resist his presence. Rachel smiled, feeling a sense of nervous excitement. "Not at all," she said, gesturing to the empty chair across from her. The guy sat down, introducing himself as Alex.
