Chapter two: The narrator

482 Words
You have no idea how terrifying it is to hold the key to their freedom in my palms. The pen is a lot mightier than the sword indeed. With mine I either draw your interest and succeed in a never ending loop of new stories with new characters. Or? There is no or. If I don’t succeed they don’t make it. Its cruel but true and there isn’t a writer who could have better motivation to be a best seller than I do. I want my characters to live. And to be alive beyond the pages I write about them. I want them to seep into your dreams and show you a whole other side to the story. I want them to breathe. Breathe life into cold hearts and clear minds of the clouded. It’ll have us all of us asking “who is Alexia, really?” Let’s not forget the older character Deirdre Walter. She’s no spring chicken yet I’d like to know what she could possibly have in common with these two kids. I mean it’s a fair question since she’s a middle aged red head professor. Why is there a connection? Is there something we might have missed? Well, all will be revealed. Once, I set the scene and disappear for a while to let you get to know the characters a little better. When I come back I’d love to know who you’re routing for...
