I stood on the podium, ready to deliver my presentation again.
Today was the day of the follow-up meeting, and there were many more Alphas present.
Did they ask these Alphas to come as reinforcement to insult me, I thought with amusement.
Theo and Max were also present, with the latter still giving me thumbs up as encouragement.
I shook my head helplessly looking at Hayden’s friend being so friendly toward me.
“Good afternoon, Alphas, Betas, and Gammas,” I greeted them with a polite smile.
“Why are you the one hosting the meeting again?” one of the elder Alphas who insulted me last time asked.
I maintained my polite and professional smile. “This is my project, so I, naturally will be the one representing it to you.”
