I had no way to escape. The only thing I could do right now was to hold on until Leo and the others arrived.
“Leo, how much longer?” I mindlinked him.
“Fifteen minutes the most. Hang on, Lottie. Hang on. We are coming to save you,” he said hurriedly and I knew he was scared for my safety.
I took a deep breath and looked at Theo, who, even though looked gentle, was like the Devil himself.
“Theo...” Even my voice sounded weak now. “Why did you do this? Why can't you wait? Why did you have to threaten my pack?”
“Lottie... I’ve told you.” He stepped a step toward me. “I’m not a patient man and I am possessive.” And another step. “I’ll get what I want no matter what the cost.”
