Six This is what she said: I am in a channel, a watery channel. This channel is the ebb and flow of divine life. The inhalation and the exhalation of God. I move on the breath. I am here. I am there. I am. We are. We are deeply embedded in the divine fabric, so deeply embedded that we cannot perceive our position there, cannot appreciate the certainty and beauty of the fabric itself. Like our earthly position in the great spiral-armed galaxy, the Milky Way, in which our tiny solar system swirls, we sit on the edge of a spindly limb so that when we raise our eyes to the night sky we see the Milky Way as something separate, as something beyond us. But we are IN it, we are OF it, and we are simply looking back at the centre of the Milky Way and seeing the grandeur of the whole of the galaxy
