Arabella's POV The carriage came to a smooth halt in front of an enormous estate, its towering structure illuminated by the soft golden glow of lanterns lining the entrance. Elegant figures in lavish gowns and dark, tailored suits moved gracefully toward the grand double doors, their faces hidden behind intricately designed masks. The air was thick with something unspoken, something thrillingly dangerous. I inhaled deeply, feeling the corset press against my ribs.
