“What the Hell is going on?” A very sleepy Connor came out of his room, rubbing his eyes. The women at the nursing station were standing there, practically petrifying in their shoes. Their jaws were slack, mouths open wide, with expressions of horror on all of their faces. “Well?” Connor ran a hand through his tousled black hair. The nurses were clearly shaken up, but they seemed to be too distracted to answer him. “She went that way,” one of the younger women pointed toward the hospital entrance with a shaking finger. “Who did?” “Your, um, mate,” another one answered, a more seasoned, older she-wolf.
