I was defrosting the sausages when I saw a very familiar face walking into the back yard. I immediately left the sausages on the sink and ran the hell out. All I could think of was why she was here.
"What are you doing here?" I inquired.
"Where I am from we exchange pleasantries at first sight."
" No time for that, where did you even come from?" I answered.
"I have my ways. Hmm... so this is where you are hiding. Why are you dressed like that?" She asked, looking at me from head to toe.
No time for explaining, especially not here.
" You can't be here."
" That's not important, I dropped by to visit."
" You could have called. She can't see you here."
Her eyes shifted to my neck. She tapped on the medallion surface.
