I flew up once the door opened. My eyes were heavy, I couldn’t see clearly but I saw the look on the doctor’s face. It didn’t give me any hope. “She’s awake,” She said. Her lips stretched in a tight smile. There was still pity in her eyes as she looked up at me. “Oh, thank the goddess.” My heart exploded with joy but the doctor’s look did not afford me complete comfort. “We have stitched her up and we believe she should be fully healed by tomorrow afternoon.” Her voice was still grave.
