I may be depressed. Or have a problem. I don’t know. Something was wrong with me. Whatever it was, it was sucking away my joy. Bit by bit. It didn’t help that Mason was withdrawing from me. Maybe he had been suspicious of my questions. Or maybe it was the scent of Ramirez in the suite. Whatever it was, he had put up barriers of his own. It shouldn’t hurt so much, now, I could keep him out totally, but I didn’t want to. It made me sick even thinking of it.
