I have ninety days to write it Natalie awoke to the sound of rattling cups and saucers on the tray that Felix was carrying up the stairs. She sat up, startled into consciousness by the fear that she was fantasizing again, and half expected to see Niel walk into the bedroom in flowing robes. She had to figure out how to talk to Aimee about that. It was Felix, all smiles. “What’s this?” Natalie asked. “Breakfast in bed?” “No, just coffee. But I have everything set up downstairs.” “What a nice way to start a Saturday!” “I want you to know how much I appreciate the help you gave me last night. Especially since you were tired.” Natalie could see the little person in her head furiously waving that red flag. Felix had already got what he wanted, so why was he being so kind after the fact?
