DANIELLA’S POV: The next morning while I was getting breakfast ready, Vicente texted me letting me know he had a special day planned and to bring a bikini. Feeling excited, I scarf down my food and rushed to get ready. Picking out my little black two-piece, I pair it with my lace cover-up and black sandals. Glancing through my accessories, I finally settle on my bulky Coach sunglasses and gold body chains. Placing everything on my bed, I grab a towel to shower. Letting the hot water cascade down me, my thoughts drift to Vicente. His muscular, toned body flashes in my mind causing a wave of lust. We had been taking it slow, being that I'm a virgin. Lately, I had been craving more but I was nervous to say something. Walking back into my room, I slather my body in my vanilla lotion and sunscreen then slip into my bikini. Giving myself a once over in the mirror, I pull out a few curls to frame my face, placing the rest in a loose bun. Shortly after I had finished, my phone came to life. Telling Anna goodbye, I rush outside. As usual, he leaned his torso against the passenger door waiting. Once he spots me, he strides over lifting me off my feet into a crushing hug. Reciprocating his energy, a rush of desire settles over me. We embrace in a passionate kiss, making me feel a surge of confidence. Turning my head to deepen the kiss, he groans. His hands traveled lower and pulled me closer. His warm tongue slowly invades my mouth, I try mimicking his actions but struggle a bit. Pulling away breathlessly, we stare at one another. His eyes are darker than normal, filled with lust. "I'm sorry if I overstepped, but you looked so beautiful I couldn't help myself." A blush paints my cheeks, making me break eye contact. "Don't worry, I wanted it," I say softly. He pulls me against him roughly, making me gasp. "Oh yeah?" He asks, his voice vibrating against me. Rolling my eyes at him, I push off his chest and head to open the car door. As my fingers wrap around the handle, his large hand envelops mine. "Tsk. You know I open the door for you Daniella." He says sternly, his front pressed against my back. Stepping aside, I allow him to swing the door open and usher me in. "So, where are we going this time?" I ask, placing his hand on my lap. "Just buckle up and enjoy the ride." He smiles, slipping on his sunglasses. Laughing at his playful attitude, I turn up the radio and adjust my body to stick my feet out the window. Vicente glances my way, a smile etched into his features. My eyes glide over him, he felt so wholesome at this moment. Away from everything, he was different. He was my Vicente. After a while, we finally pull into a small parking lot near an ocean. "This is my secret spot. I come here when things aren't going well and when I want to be alone." He explains. "But, I want to share this with you." His words almost sounded shy, like he was embarrassed. Grabbing his hand, he looks up at me. "Thank you, Vicente. Let's go!" I say excitedly. My response seems to relax him because his playful demeanor returned. Before making our way down the trail, Vicente stops me and walks to his trunk. I wait, curious. He pulls out a small cooler and a backpack. "Ready?" He asks. Nodding my head, I offer to hold the backpack but he waves me off. When we finally make it to his spot, he sets the cooler down and takes out a blanket from his bag, laying it on the sand. After we had eaten, we decided to walk along the beach. The waves were gentle today, the water warm. Walking side by side, Vicente tells me about his childhood. "It was only us growing up, Isa begged for a sister. Unfortunately, she was stuck with me." He chuckles. I feel his arm wrap around my waist, tugging me closer to his side. His touch sends butterflies to my stomach. "I'm so glad I got this day with you." He says into my ear, making me smile. "Me too," I reply, stepping on my tip toes to peck his lips. Suddenly, he grabs me and throws me over his shoulder running into the body of water. I let out a small scream, "Vicente! Put me down!" I laugh out, "You want me to put you down? OK." And just like that we're both thrown under the water. Holding my breath, I swim to the surface. His arms circled my waist, pulling me to him. My smile beams bright looking up into his eyes. He made me feel so alive this past summer, I never wanted it to end. A feeling of sadness must've flashed in my eyes because he noticed. "What's wrong?" He asks gently. "I just. I don't want this to end. But I don't know where we stand." I sigh. A small smile spreads across his face, making me furrow my brows. "What's so funny?" I pout, looking away from him. "Well Hermosa, I had a question for you." He breathes out. "Will you be my girlfriend?" The question sends my mind into a frenzy. Pulling him closer, I kiss him fiercely. He responds the same, gripping the back of my neck. When we part, I smile. "I'd love to be your girlfriend." He picks me up out of the water and holds me into the air, causing a loud laugh to escape my lips. Walking back up to our blanket, we pull out our towels and dry off. I had brought my book of poetry with me. I want to surprise him and read it in person since we've only done it over the phone. Pulling the book from my purse, I turn to him. "Do you want to read with me?" His face fills with happiness, nodding his head yes. Turning to my favorite poem, I start from there. He lays his head on my lap, listening to my words. When night finally reached the sky we packed up our things and made the walk back to his car. The ride back was spent in a comfortable silence, a smile remained on my face. I was his girlfriend. When we pulled into my uncle's driveway, a feeling of sadness waved over me. I didn't want the night to end. "Would you like to come in?" I ask, my voice small. I was nervous, never having done this before. Lifting my gaze to meet his, I see this look on his face. "Do you want me to come in?" He replies. Afraid to speak, I nod my head yes. "Words, beautiful." My breath catches in my throat. "Yes, I want you to come in." I finally muster up the courage to form the sentence. We slowly approach the house, climbing through my window. My uncle hadn't been released yet but I didn't want to put Anna in a weird position. When we stood across from each other in the room, reality set in. Nerves started to form a ball in my stomach, making my hands shake. Vicente notices, steadying them with his own. "We can go as slow as you'd like Hermosa. Breathe." He says gently, easing my anxious thoughts. Looking into his eyes, I see the desire forming in them. Slipping his hand around my waist, he pulls me into his chest. Craning my neck to look up at him, he is already casting his gaze on me. His hands trace slow strokes on my lower back, causing shivers to roll down my spine. "You are so beautiful." He whispers out, I melt against him. He presses his lips to mine with a sense of urgency. Losing myself in his kiss, heat shoots to my core. Making our way to the bed, I straddle his lap. His hands grip my waist, guiding me against him. A moan escapes my lips, my head falling back. He lets out a low groan as he picks up the pace. My whimpers come out louder than I intend, causing him to clamp his hand around my mouth. "Keep quiet hermosa." Nodding my head, he swiftly changes our positions so he's on top and I lay below him. His hands invade every surface of me. I tug at his shirt, hinting for him to take it off. He sits up quickly, pulling it off himself. Vicente hovers over me, his body encasing mine. Taking a few of my curls in his hand, he gazes into my eyes. "I love you, Daniella." He says softly, connecting his lips back to mine. My heart swells in my chest, knowing there was nobody else for me."I love you, Vicente." I say back confidently. A bright smile makes its way across his face, leaving me breathless.
