Stones on stone's staircase
Beaten in stony wide areas
Life I saw in death
No more I thought so
My lover I wish seeing
But only rumors I heard
She came but none saw
Far from us we held

Animals barked at our eyes

The beasts we became painly

Only eyes we saw not

In the East we Thorned
