We Met at the Wrong Time

A Lonely Ghost

"Come with me"

"What? are we going somewhere? It's almost 12 in the midnight. Where are we going? Are we going to a bar?" She loudly asked.

"Aish! Stop asking and just get in to the car! You're the most talkative ghost I've ever seen. Gosh" I irritately said before I get in to the car.

She's still standibg in front of the door. Gosh, I don't know what to do to her.

I open the window.

"Hey! Stupid ghost. What are you waiting? a Christmas? Tsk. Are you coming or not? I'm leaving!" I started my car and she run so fast towards my car like a kid.

She's now sitting at the back. I look at her through the rare view.

"Why are you there? Am I look like a driver? Sit here." I said.

"Are you a p*****t? Why would I sit at you?" She said with her wide eyes.

Aishhh! She's getting me a headache!

"Can you stop accusing me? I said, sit here. Stupid ghost." I pointed my finger to the seat beside me.

She popped besid me. The power of ghosts.

"Did I call you a p*****t? I think I don't. You're just hallucinating. Gosh Ken, you're making me worried. Are alright?" She said while roaming her eyes and playing innocent.

"Aish! Hey, I'm warning you. I don't want a noice. And don't be stupid again. Don't fcking dissappear without telling me" I seriously said and gave her a warning look.

"Eye eye captain!" She said and give me a salute. Gosh, she's really like a kid.

We're now on our way to cemetery. It's a bit far from my house.

I turn my look to Eliah. She's now sleeping at her seat.

"Kgrgshhh" Goshh, she's even snoring so loud.

I'm tapping her to wake her up.

"Hey! Wake up. Stop snoring." But it didn't work.

She is sound asleep. I think she still regaining her energy.

Gosh it's cold. I lowered the air con. I look at Eliah and she's still in deep sleep.

I wonder if she can feel the coldness.

I reach the jacket at the back and cover it to her face.

Gosh, she snores so loud. It's my first time

to see a ghost snoring.

Minutes has passed and finally we are already her at the cemetery. It's already 12:22.

"Hey wake up, we're here." I said while shaking her.

"Aish! give me 5 minutes more" She said while her eyes are still closed.

"Five minutes my butt, I'm warning you..." I said calmly, and came out to my car.

"Just five minut..."

"GET UP!!" I shouted, that makes her bewildered.

She suddenly stood up causing him to bump at my car's roof.

"Aish! stupid ghost" I said.

"Aww! Gosh! Why did you make me startled?!Aish" She said while touching her head.

She's really giving me a headache. I just ignore her and walk to get the food at the car. I saw her came out.

"What's that? and why are we here? are sending me out from your house?" She asked.

"It's none of your business." I said, and starts to walk.

"K-ken, I don't want here. Please let me stay in your house. I promise, I will behave. I will not make any troubles. I'm scared here." She said with a sad tone.

I wonder why she is scared. Is she scared to the other ghost? She's also a ghost. Gosh.

"Aish! Can you stop you dramas? I'm not sending you out, okay? I'm visiting my sister. So shut up" I said.

"Wait for me.."She ran towards me and suddenly hold at my arm that makes me startle.

I look at her hand, holding my arm. I turn my look to her face and I saw that she's really scared. Gosh.

"Hey! what do you think you are doing? I told you no one can touch me without my permission." I said while still walking.

"Ihh. Just let me only this time. I'm scared. Ken! they are looking at me, Ken!" She said. I can feel her han trembling.

"I'm the human here, so I must be the one who scared not you. Aish" I said.

She is still trembling with fear.

"Close your eyes." I said and it looks like she didn't here it.

"I said close your eyes!"

She look at me and she closed her eyes.

I took her hand and held it. She's about to open her eyes because of what I did.

"Just keep your eyes closed. Follow my steps and don't be afraid. I'm here." I said calmly.

After a few minutes, we're finally here. In front of Zen's grave.

"we're here, you can open your eyes" I said while removing my hand to her but she keeps holding it.

"No, I don't want to. Im scaredd T~T" She said.

Aish!

"There's no more ghost, you can open it and can you let go my hand? tss. You're taking me advantage." I said that makes her to open her eyes and suddenly let go of my hand.

"Hey stop accusing me!" she said and sitted in front of my twins grave.

"Zen! Can you tell to your twin to be nice to me? Aish, If you only know how rude he was to me. He's torturing me, Zen please tell him that she should treat me nicely." She's now talking to my twin.

I also sitted and put the tupperware in front of her grave. I also put 1 orange juice.

"Sorry, I forgot to bring a candle. Yeah, I know it's too late, I just want you to taste my own recipe of hotdog." I said and laugh a little

Eliah caught my attention. She's now staring at the food without making a blink.

"Hey, what are you doing?" I asked.

"K-ken, I think Zen can not eat that too much. She can not finish it. Can you give me some? hehe uhm, just a little ^_^" She said and gave me a pleasing smile.

"Why would I?" I said and smirk.

"Aish! Just a little. I just want to taste it!" She said.

"The last time I ate a food, is when the day before I died." She said sadly.

"And besides, my grave is not too far from here. Please... pleaseee" And now she's begging me like a kid.

"Fine. fine... just stop." I said before I stand up.

"Where is your grave?" I asked.

"Here.. here.. follow me" She replied.

and we starts to walk.

Many many minutes has passed but we're still not there yet. Gosh, I'm tired. I think she tricked me.

"Where the fvck are your grave? You said it's not far from Zen's grave. Are you fooling me?" .

"Aish! Just wait, we're almost there!" she said.

She's getting into my nerve, gosh!

"Were hereeee!" She said with full of excitement.

"Where? I cant see a grave here. It's just clutter and weeds." I said confused..

"Aish! stop insulting my grave! you're so meann! Just put the food over there!" She said.

I removed a bit of clutter that makes me see a grave.

"Is this really yours?" I asked.

"Of course! Why would I take you here if it's not mine? tss!" She said.

"Just put the food already, aish"

I took the foods from the bag. I put the Tupperware over her grave.

At first glance, you wouldn't thunk that it's a grave.

"Did you prepared two Tupperware? So you really prepared also for me?" she asked with a wide smile.

"Of course not, it's mine. But you keeps bothering me so I will give to you. tsk" I said.

"Woah! You also bring a drinks. Give me the beer!"

"Beer my but. How can a ghost drink a beer? Aish!" I wonder what ghost look like if got drunk, Lol.

I put also the orange juice at her grave.

"You must say 'This is for you Eliah" go! say it! say it!"

She's full of excitement.

"Aish. Do i need to say that?"

"Just say it! It's so simple! tsk" she said.

"Fine. finee! This is for you ugly Eliah" I said teasing her.

"Hey! I'm not ugl..."

and the slowly popped at her hands.

"Woahhh! Look Ken! It's in my hands now! Look! Look!" She said like it is her first time to eat,gosh.

"It worked! Si it means you're really ugly"

"Aish! I don't care what you say. I'm gonna eat this" She said and suddenly disappear.

"Hey!" Aish! that ghost!

I look around to see her.

"Ken!" I look at where it coming from. I saw her waving her hand to me. She's sitting at the bench not far from here.

I walk towards her. She's now eating. Eating like a kid.

"Hey, eat slowly. Gosh" I said. She ignores me and keep eating.

I'm just watching her to eat while I'm drinking my beer.

"Hurry eating. I have a lot of questions." I said with a deep voice. She just give me a thumbs up sign.

After minutes, finally she's done.

"Woah. I'm full!" She said and burp so loud.

"Oh, excuse me. Thank you Lord." She said.

"Hey, why are you so scared to the other ghosts ealier?" I asked.

"I'm just scared. Even I'm also a ghost, they can still hurt me. Especially the evil spirits. And hey! I remember, how did you beat the evil spirit at the school?"She said while drinking her juice.

" I'm just much more stronger than that ugly black ghost. Don't be scared nexttime.

If they know that you're afraid to them, they can harm you." I said, and just nodded her head.

" The first time I saw you is here. Are you staying her since you're burried?" I asked.

" Yes, after I died I started to stay her. I don't have any else to go.

I can't find my way. I think I still have things that I need to do in this world." She seriously replied.

"Every morning, I'm just roaming around or going to the school to see my sister. There's no evil spirits here every morning. But in the evening, I'm just here at the bench, waiting for the sun to come." She added.

"Don't you have family?"

"My parents died when I was 12. Since that day, my sister started to hate me, She didn't even come when I was burried."She said and smiles bitterly.

"I know you're confused earlier about the look of my grave. After I was burried, no one ever came here again. Even my sister."

"I don't have any friends when I was alive. Until now. Haha! How cruel the world is. I was a lonely girl in my past life and I end up to be a lonely ghost" She added.

I'm just looking at her while she's talking. I didn't expect she has a such sad story.

"Hey, I forgot to thank you for the food!" She look at me and smiled.

"Thankyou. It's delicious" She said.

I know she's holding back her tears.

"Don't thank me, you owe me that" I said.

"I remember the ghost you left in my house! she's alone there" I added.

"I left her sleeping. She's fine. She's probably still asleeo right now." She said while looking up to the stars. "I always looking at them. They're beautiful"

She turn my look at me.

"Thankyou, Ken. For saving me from being alone. If I didn't met you, for sure I'm still alone." She said and gave me a smile and turn her look again at the stars.

I'm just looking at her. I didn't expect this annoying ghost is being lonely all the time.

She's now leaning at my shoulder.

She suddenly fell asleep. I think she got tired remembering those sad stories.
