RED CARPET (ep. 2)

Soon enough the Rite of passage came on and every one in the village made time to experience the occasion. Joy, cheers and as well as tears from parents of the upcoming adults who were partaking in the rite. Kofi Asamoah's name was mentioned and he went to the center as the people were made to sit around them so that even if you have a seat at the back you would see not vivid but memorable at least. People clapped, flowers were thrown expressing their love. The rest of the partakers stayed somewhere until their names were mentioned to came forward for the rites to be made. As it was getting to end to the end of the occasion the Chief of the village made an important announcement that whosoever made it in life within 5 to 10 years will be given a beautiful wife who had qualified for the girls turning into women's rite of passage. These were women that were well mannered and the most important thing was that they were all virgins. Kofi Asamoah said to himself he will sure make it within these years and would not let his parents be put to shame ever.
