Together

"Sire, did you sleep well?" Lincoln asked while he rolled in the breakfast cart. "I did. I have an early date this morning," Cofer said to Lincoln. He couldnt't stop himself from smiling from ear to ear. His face spelled out his excitement and much more. "Uhm... With a woman, sir?" Lincoln asked with a baffled look on his face. "I asked the woman out that I talked to you about, " Cofer said while giving him the side eye. "I am glad to hear that? Is there anything in particular you want to wear on your date?" "Yes, I want to be comfortable. My black v-neck shirt and dark gray slacks." "Yes Sire." Lincoln went to the closet and pulled the requested clothes out and hung them on the rack in the dressing room.. Cofer had started planning that day the moment he knew he could see Josey again. His heart felt like it was going to jump out of his chest. He took off his night clothes and slid into the bath. He was ready promptly by 11:00. Jitters and butterflies gently taunted his stomach, but he was ready nonetheless. It took thirty minutes to get to Josey’s manor. He pulled up and parked. [Oh my goodness. Breathe.] As soon as he approached the door, a door assistant appeared. "How may I help you sir?" "I am here to pick up Josey." The assistant disappeared momentarily. "Josey will be making her exit in less than one minute." The assistant assured him. When Josey opened the door, he had to remind himself to breathe again. She wore a short fitted black hooded v-neck dress. His eyes couldn't help but devour the top of her beautiful brown breasts that peeped out over the low v-split. The sleeves were extra long; they covered her hands. Her black ankle-high open toe boots accentuated her long legs. Legs that had just the right amount of muscle tone. [Those legs] Her hair was down. [I had no idea her hair was this long.] It was thick and jet black. The spiral curls were large. She had the mid section of her hair pulled back and the sides were loose. It flowed almost past her sexy thighs. Time had stood still in order to give him a moment to lounge in her exquisiteness. "Josey" was the only word he could muster while his hormones beckoned him to hold her close to himself. "Good evening Cofer" She said in a low sexy voice. "Shall we go?" She continued. "Yes! Of course," he quickly recollected himself. As she descended the steps, he took her hand, procuring his need for her skin to touch his own. He guided her to the passenger side of the car and opened the door. Josey adjusted her hair, so that she wouldn't sit on it. For half a second, the skin on the back of her neck entranced him. It was a neck that he remembered so vividly staring at, in that closet. [I need to calm down.] Once Josey was comfortably seated, he ran to the driver's side. His sports car that sat low to the ground, gave way to Josey's dress moving about an inch, or three, up her legs.Trying to keep his eyes on the road and watch Josey's thick thighs was a chore in itself, She smelled like she had taken a bath in honey milk and lavender flowers. He mentally pictured her naked body immersed in a large bath full of milky water, sprinkled with purple flowers. [Snap out of it Cofer!] The car was silent. They both stirred in their seats, unsure of what to say first. At that moment, he decided that since they were going to a restaurant and more, if they didn't speak, he wouldn’t panic. Before long, they were pulling into the cafe's dimensional parking. Once the car was inside, Cofer placed his thumb print on the screen. The thumbprint would be used to automatically retrieve his car from wherever they were in the city. He opened Josey's door and took her hand, once again basking in their tenderness. At the door, they were greeted by a dimensional concierge. While dimensional characters were not real, their artificial intelligence was advanced enough to interact flawlessly, as if they were actual humans. The concierge opened the door and the waitress showed them to their seat. In his reservation he had requested an area that was normally pretty quiet. While taking their seats at the table, he noticed she was avoiding looking at him. "Is there something wrong?" he said in short. "I'm just nervous, I have been looking forward to seeing you.", She sounded a little insecure. Her mannerisms and movements were stunning, even when she felt shy. "You are so beautiful." he said smoothly. "Thank you for the compliment." She blushed and smiled. " How has school been going? Tell me about your friends." Cofer had questions that needed answers. "School is school. Up until a couple of weeks ago, I only had Leon and Collin. We've been friends for about three years. Though I am not allowed to be seen off campus with them." She paused nervously. "After the tea party debacle, Duchess Lizah, Princess Crema, and Grand Duke Solvain occasionally hang out with us. I am not sure if any of my relationships can be defined as true friendship. But I'm doing my best under the circumstances." She continued. "I understand. This society and its need to exhale those who are different makes my stomach turn. I am glad you have had Leon and Collin with you at the very least. " he said to provide some comfort. "Josey, I have been curious." Her eyes widened at the sudden change in his voice. "Have you been sleeping well?" his question seemed to have made her uncomfortable. "Sorry. If you don't want to answer, it's fine." he hurriedly stated. "No it's fine. I really wanted someone to talk to about this."Her voice became lower. "Your meals have arrived." The waitress stated. The waitress placed Cofer’s meal in front of him with some wine. She seemed hesitant to interact with Josey. "Place the plate and excuse yourself." The fire in Cofer 's eyes were set ablaze and his stern voice echoed. The waitress reacted quickly and left them. She kept her eyes towards the window, looking up into the sky, while gazing at the passing people outside of the window. While he was so focused on her, he had tuned out the world around them, not noticing the large crowds outside of their window. "I have night terrors. Up until I met you, I have always been alone in those dreams." She turned and looked at him with thankfulness in her eyes. "If I may be so bold, you have been my savior in several of my dreams." She continued. "I have? Can you tell me about it? If just a snippet. "He said with a naughty grin on his face. "In my worst dream of late, I floated in this place filled with darkness. Somehow you found me. " She said. Josey looked back at the window as if her next statement was going to be embarrassing;"You comforted me, held me." His words lingered somewhere near the edge of his lips, but shock kept them intact. [This sounds like the dream I found her crying in.] Regaining his voice, he said "I am truly honored that you think so highly of me." They laughed together. As they ate their food, they talked a little more about her dreams and how she was working through them with Dr. Keller. He wasn't sure how she would react, if he said "I was there" or "I can still feel your body pressing against mine". He wasn’t sure how he became entangled in her dreams but this could pan out to be a good thing. Josey and Cofer talked about their deepest thoughts and how they despised the people of Nethersigh. They agreed not to say that they had a kindred hatred for their antics, but they would say that they wouldn't tolerate their ignorance. Three hours passed as they bounced thought after thought between them, as if long lost friends, getting reacquainted. "Would you like to take a carriage ride around the city?" he asked as they were ready for his appointment. "Carriage ride? I've never ridden in one. But that sounds nice.", he got up from the table and assisted her. The carriage sat waiting for them in front of the cafe. The horses were beautiful, all black Clydesdales. He had them brought into Nethersigh just for their date. "I have never seen such animals before," Josey said while running her fingers through the horse's mane. "These are called Clydesdale. Nethersigh does not have creatures like this. These come from Attervotte. I will tell you more during our ride." The horse master opened the carriage door. Cofer helped Josey in and then the horse master assisted him with climbing in. The people on the streets were mesmerized and others terrified by the large creatures. They started their journey around Nethersigh. She huddled close to him as he talked about the other cities in Lichter. Attervotte was the only one that was built around the animal's habitat. The animals worked just like the people. The people respected and cared for the animals, deeply. While there were some spectacular architectural features around Nethersigh, it just wasn't the view that made them happy at that moment. It took all of his energy not to kiss her. Every smile, laugh, and pout created a strong yearning for her touch or a nibble of her lips. Their carriage ride seemed to be over in the blink of an eye. The temperatures were dropping and the night was fast approaching. Cofer wasn't ready for their time to end. The horse master opened the doors to let them out of the carriage. He bid him adieu and good morrows for his trip back to Attervotte. Once Cofer was out of the carriage, he then continued assisting Josey. While helping Josey out of the carriage, she lost her balance. Toppling forward, her breasts pressed against his chin, subsequently sliding down his chest, the tension in his body increased as he felt himself losing his resolve. He quickly placed her on the ground and she apologized frequently for her clumsiness. The sound of the crows squawking into the night made what she saw seem unreal. Josey froze in place and her eyes widened as she looked up at the grand building. "Where are we, Cofer?" "This is the Great Music Hall of Lichter. The Turshone symphony is playing tonight." She stood silent with mouth agape. "B- But I am not dressed for this." She said with a concerned look on her face. "No worries. I have a personal booth". His confidence tripled as he realized he would no longer be eating alone in his personal booth. They entered the building through the VIP entrance in the back. Her eyes sparkled with her fascination. She commented on every piece of art on the walls and the gold decor that riddled the high vaulted ceilings. Her knowledge of classical music composers and contemporary art made Cofer want to love her even more. By the time they had made it to their seats, the lights had started dimming. Josey's eyes had a slight glow to them. Cofer couldn't look away. "Josey.. Your eyes are glowing" he stated in a worried manner. "What? Don't look!"
