After all was said and done there were only a handful of unbranded Nesigher that survived Cofer's siege by pure luck. There was no reason to go back for them because if they didn't leave Nethersigh they would be greeted by its new resident vampires.
Cofer held his beautiful queen's hand and guided her towards the lower levels of the castle. Like before, Josey was in awe by the majestic paintings and the classic decor of the castle.
Before Cofer could take the opportunity to press Josey against the wall of the narrow hallway, Josey stopped in her tracks. She had an epiphany , "Cofer if my succubus soul exists in the human realm, how do I collect souls in the dream realm? What will happen if I don't collect souls? If can't collect souls, how is that going to effect me?"
