CHAPTER TWO Gabriel subdued his reactions with a steely hand. His boss’s words might have sounded like an invitation, but the tone of the man’s voice had changed that request into an order. Gabriel took his eyes off his computer screen lazily, and not only because he was playing a role. Sudden moves made him dizzy, and he didn’t feel like losing his consciousness and hitting the floor in a dead faint at his boss’s feet.
