Chapter 24.1: The uninvited.

"Oh my god, I'm sorry! " Skye exclaimed when she accidentally spilled her cup of beer unto the shirt of the birthday celebrant itself, Roland.
Roland is the older brother of Levi. His body built and height we're almost as identical to his younger brother. But if Levi was the copy cat of his dad, Roland was the duplicated one. He got all their father's features. From the eyes, the nose, and the lips. All he got from their mother was his personality. He doesn't have the slightly curl of a hair that Levi had though, but rather a long black one that just ends above his shoulder.
"Oh!" He said when he felt the liquid wet his white top. But unexpectedly, he just laughed and brushed off the stained on her shirt with his hand like it was nothing. "Problem solved." he added as he smiled to everyone on the table. He was obviously drunk .
"I'm sorry." Skye muttered.
Roland turned his head towards her and chuckled. "Don't worry, young lady. It's nothing." he said as he put his hand above her head and mess her hair a little.
Skye grimaced. His hand was surprisingly heavy and his breath stinks of alcohol. He had too much already , even the party had just started.
"Seamus!" he exclaimed when he saw him sitting at the end of the table. He immediately when to him and sat beside him. "How are you man?" he said as he put his hand on the young man shoulders.
"Still handsome." Seamus said, conceited , and he smirked afterwards..
Piper and Skye grimaced at his words while Eric just shook his head at his friends.
"That's my man." Roland proudly said as he squeeze him between his arms. And they just both laughed afterwards.
"Do you want another? I can get one for you." Vanessa who was sitting at the table stood up and asked Skye. She was referring to her empty cup of beer on her hand.
"Nah. I'm good. " She replied with a timid smile before she sat down beside her.
It was now three in the afternoon. Skye and Maddison were currently at the Patterson's place. Since it was Roland's birthday, they get invited to the party. It was more of a barbeque party actually, with beers and other foods.
Skye came her thinking that the party that Maddison would be just for her family and the her circle of friends. But when they arrived, she didn't expect that it would be a party with all the people in the neighborhood. But Skye somehow feel comfortable.
"By the way, I heard my sister in law's little sister is here." Roland suddenly said particularly to everybody. " Do you know where was she ? I wasn't here when she came to visit."
"She is just right here Roland." Piper said and points the auburn haired girl with her finger.
The man turned to look at Skye direction. "Oh, it's you?" he said as he stood up. " I'm sorry I didn't know it was you." He added then walk towards them.
"It's okay. " Skye muttered.
"No, it's not." Roland retorted back. "Let me introduce myself to you young lady. " He added before he fixes her shirt and hair. He also wipe his hand on his satined shirt before she offered it to shake.
"Hi, I'm Roland. " he said with a smile.
Skye took his hand and shook it.
"Skye." she said as she smiled at him.
"Well, well , you look at that." he said as he stared at her. But not in a uncomfortable way. " You had the smile of your sister. " he added.
"Thank you." Skye said . She was about to take her hand from him when he stop her.
"Wait. " he said as he held Skye's hand with both of his hands. And squinting his eyes at her.
"I need to ask you something. And I want you to answer it honestly okay?" Roland said a little serious this time. And Skye was curiously waiting .
"Who's the most handsome one between me and Levi.?" he asked.
Skye opened her mouth but she closed it again . She don't know what to say. And she got a little shy cause the others were really waiting for her to answer.
"Just say that it's him. So he would go away. " Seamus said with a smirk.
"Hey, man. Don't force her." The long haired man groaned and stood up straight. He let go of Skye's hand then crossed his arms on chest while shaking his head at seamus. "That's not nice. Let her choose, Okay? Besides, I'm quite confident that she would choose me. Right, Skye ? " he added and turned to look at Skye afterwards. Smiling widely at her as he wait for her answer.
"Hey, bro. Don't scare her." Levi suddenly butted in.
"Nah ah, Lev. Don't interfere. This is between me and this young lady. I'm asking her if who's the most handsome man between us. It's been a long awaited question to be answered, Lev. And the final answer lies within this georgeous you lady. " Roland said, swaying on his feet as he tried to balance himself.
"I'm sorry , bro. I don't want to get your hopes up. I don't want to be conceited but I know she would choose me." Levi calmly said, feigning seriousness as he crossed his arms on his chest.
"Uh oh. Battle of the fittest. I mean, the prettiest man." Seamus commented and chuckled on his own words.
