Axel's abrupt movement woke Shawn from the bed. Yawning, he gently squeezed his eyes before he slowly opened his eyes. He squinted on the first seconds as his eyes were adjusting to the dim light of the room. Only a small amount of moonlight that managed to seep through the small openings of the curtain served as the only source of light inside the room. By the time his eyes already adjusted, Shawn instantly saw Axel sitting at the edge of the bed. Axel's back was facing him.
