Axel lost his sense of time for how long he was speechless. He, himself, couldn't bear to fight Shawn's sharp glares even if it wasn't directed to him. How did Shawn get there? And how did Shawn know their condominium unit and open the door unnoticed?
His head promptly turned from one guy to the other as no one was talking. Shawn and Hunter were locking their eyes with each other as if they were battling. It's as if Axel could see the lightning sparkling and hear thunderclaps in the background, fighting for dominance, like in the movies. Shawn was showing how authoritative he is, and no one must go against him. But, on the other side, Hunter was simply smirking and a bit grinning as if he was to pull Shawn's trigger.
