Seeing Neil right before his eyes, Axel seemed to finally get it. With Neil inside Shawn’s car, it could not help Axel but think that any time sooner Shawn would leave them --- him, Xian and the unborn baby in him. It looked like the dots had been connected in his mind. He would only be Shawn’s priority if Neil is out of the picture. And thinking about it hurts him a lot. All this time, he thought really learned to love him with all his heart but with the situation they were in contradicted every word Shawn had promised him. Now, it was clear to him why Shawn did not answer his calls because he was with Neil, Shawn’s first love. And who knows if Shawn still loves Neil the way Shawn loved Neil before their paths had crossed.
