After washing and wiping the dishes dry, Shawn piled all the plates they used inside the cupboard cabinet. He looked around the kitchen. He checked if there’s still anything he forgot to clean up. When he was sure that there’s none, Shawn left the kitchen. He turned off the lights before he passed the open door frame.
Shawn looked at the sofa. He did not find Xian lying there. And the receiving area was silent like no one lives inside the penthouse. So he thought his son was already in his room.
Climbing up on the stairs, Shawn sighed, relaxing himself from the stressful day. Well, his day just became stressful starting in the afternoon when Neil suddenly showed up in his office. Good thing Russel clarified the issue before the day ended which made him think if it was just a coincidence
