CHAPTER FOUR Grayson woke to find a text message from Steve. Girls want to see you, come over for dinner? Sure, he texted, and went to take a shower and get ready for work. He felt the phone vibrate against his leg with an incoming text as he navigated the roads between his house and the Windsor Historical Society. He waited until he was parked before pulling it out. Next Saturday? Steve had asked. Girls want to make meatloaf because they say it’s your favorite. It wasn’t. Grayson was a recently ex-vegetarian.
