Colt’s Point Of View The silence was almost as thick as the fog which rolled up to the hills on which we were. I was seeing without the blink of pursuit, hearing without the wink of warning, as had not been possible to me in days. I finally took a breath and did not feel like I knew that air a lifetime ago.
