Krystal’s POV The boat tossed easily through the water, but this was no peaceful thing. It was cold, the sky was endless and I felt absolutely empty inside. Hans was a few paces behind me and braced against the rail as though this were not a scene he had just ruined my life. He took a cigarette, and it was a glowing one in the dark. "You know, I never thought you would do it, he muttered, and blew the smoke away. "I believed you would just allow him to die.” I made no reply. I couldn’t. I couldn't crack open my mouth.
