I didn't expect a response from my ex-husband so quickly, but it came anyway.
Just as I requested, the first invitation was sent to him, and that very night, he called me.
“Just what are you trying to pull, Krystal?” He said the moment I answered the phone. “Don't you think this is rather pathetic? Since you can't have me you're now wagging your tail in front of my brother?”
He chuckled beneath his breath; “I should give you a fair warning but that guy has never been interested in one woman for more than a couple of days, he'll get bored of you pretty quickly, just wait!”
