CHAPTER SEVENTY-NINE Tatiana trudged towards her brother’s bedside. “Elliot,” she meekly called. The boy didn’t respond. A sob escaped from her lips as she sat down in the chair beside his bed. She held his hand tightly as anxiety washed over her. She remembered how her childhood friend, Simon, lay lifeless inside the coffin in front of her. That fear started to eat her up again and she couldn’t stop herself from thinking of bad things that could possibly happen to her little brother.
