Why now?
Why I'm in heat now?
This is supposed to happen six months from now. On the day Lahn caught his Alpha's Affair. I didn't prepare anything regarding this outrageous situation. I was a fool to trust the flow of the story too much. But what triggers this to happen? What did I do in my past life to experience this? Am I just such an unlucky man? For me being surrounded by alphas while in heat are the most dangerous thing to imagine. Thinking of the worst scenario possible made my soul leave its body, again.
That's what I hope but Nah.
Before anyone loses their rationality and mine, I tried to move my feet to run away but it won't as if paralyzed and I've no control. Damn. I feel weak. These nonstop panting and inexplicable pain like an awful flame grilling my inside vigorously. How did Lahn manage to walk away from that 'time' with this terrible pain, where I... felt like dying.
'I... I need to leave this place.'
Mustering all my strength left, I pushed away the person touching my face but he won't budge a bit. 'Tch this Lixue, if I regain my strength I will castrate you! Mark my words.' I swore with my glaring eyes. However, this man still looked at me so softly, as if I was more valuable than the family-jewel hanging between his legs. Wait, did I translate it right?
I jolted back in reality seeing his soft lips parted away. I was so focused on what he was about to say, when...
"Lahn!"
I quickly glanced in the direction of the voice who called me. "Eirwin!" I enthusiastically shouted back. For the first time in my lifespan, I felt relieved seeing someone other than my family. I got no idea how I managed to jump into his arms and hugged him so tightly, all I know is that I'm thankful he found me, and now,... I was safe.
"Little Lahn... what happened?" he asked so worriedly while wiping my tears. These shitty eyes with loose tear glands. Let me say this straight, I definitely didn't cry nor I'm a crybaby. Anyhow, I don't need to explain everything I have no energy left to do it, I must quickly leave this place. I... felt so weak.
"...win... home... take me back home..." I barely said before the dizziness and pain completely took me.
[3rd Person POV]
Worried for his little brother, Eirwin excuse himself to his band group and search for Lahn. He can't help himself but worry if he's out of sight. He clearly knows that Lahn doesn't like crowded places or attending any kind of event he rather loves to stay away from people as much as possible. But Eirwin wants him to conquer this fear. His appearance wasn't the problem but the people's perspective. He shouldn't shun himself for this reason or try to fit the standards of narrow-minded people.
Lahn wasn't ordinary as he was born -- special. Eirwin always believes that Lahn shines brighter than anyone else, even the stars.
Eirwin wants to show Lahn that nothing is wrong with him. He was simply a man with a beautiful appearance.
As soon as he stepped out of the hall, a pleasant smell of flower blooming every spring greeted him. Making an illusion of pink petals dancing together with the gentle wind where the bright colors covered the whole place. This light familiar scent of sakura although it's faint he instinctively knows it came from Lahn.
"Lahn!" he shouted anxiously shaking the person who fainted in his arms. Receiving no response, he quickly checked the breath and pulse and carried Lahn like a princess. Eirwin knew Lahn never been in heat to the point that he was doubtful of Lahn's sec-gender result. Also for Lahn not to take or bring any suppressants with him. Eirwin has the assumption that Lahn undergoes heat because of meeting his fated pair. With one glance his speculation becomes reality when sensing the spine-chilling glare of an alpha.
'Why him?'
Lixue Blake, the current Chief Executive Officer of RYZ Entertainment, his boss. Infamous for being cold-hearted and emotionless. Eirwin instinctively knows that he needs to leave this place, immediately. So he said, "Please, excuse me. I need to take care of my Little Brother." emphasizing the word 'brother'.
However, he stops when Lixue grabbed Lahn's hand and strongly commanded, "STAY." Eirwin brows twitch hearing it. The silent fight of stares started with each side not backing down.
"Step. Back." Lixue ghastly said as he release a tremendous amount of pheromones making the rest of alpha to suffocates, ceasing their attack on Eirwin.
With the amount of pheromones Lahn now emitting, the four young masters have been affected by it and lost their sanity being consumed by Alpha's instinct. Thanks to Lixue's pheromones it neutralizes the effect but as the strongest alpha, his dominance strangles them by an invisible force. Even Eirwin shivers at his superiority.
He was really the kin of Blake's Alpha.
"Calm down Lix." A man with grayish-white hair suddenly appeared while tapping his glorious cane.
"Grandfather," Lixue greeted while restraining his pheromones.
This old man was rarely showing his appearance in public yet his presence still holds supremacy. He stepped closer to Eirwin and asked while glancing at Lahn. "Does he has any particular mark like a moon on his body?"
Surprised by this, Eirwin still managed to answer honestly, "Yes,"
A pleasant smile suddenly formed on his stoic face, "Lix, we finally find him. Take him back home." he commanded as he turned his back and leave.
Perplexed, Eirwin commented, "Forgive this insolence sir, but I won't let you do it. I will take my BROTHER home." his voice has a hint of anger while holding Lahn so tightly.
The grandfather halted his steps and strongly stabbed the ground. "Do you think you will cease the pain of this person's suffering? Suppressants won't do, her smell like he never takes one."
"I still insist sir!" Eirwin strongly against it.
"Foolish child." His voice raises a volume but in the next second he sighed and looked at Eirwin, he continues, "Then tag along will that be enough? You know child, your pheromones will not affect this omega as well as him to yours, because of your 'bond' as brothers. My dear 'grandson-in-law' only needs my -- grandson!"
Eirwin was taken aback by his words particularly the last phrase, "P- pardon?"
Lixue suddenly stepped in, "Eirwin Saivatores we don't have time. His pheromones might affect the other guest. I will explain everything later. You might as well not leave his side to assure I won't do anything. But for now, I need to take Lahn from your arms."
His eyes looks as if asking Eirwin to trust him however he will still respect what he will decide. Seeing his determination and Lahn's situation, Eirwin helplessly let go of his little brother. "Lixue, I don't fully trust you. But for now, please take care of him."
Lixue carefully holds Lahn and carries him like a bride. "I will."
