Asa's POV “Target confirmed, Boss." Marco’s voice cut through the silence in my earpiece. "Jake’s at the old scrapyard off Pier Eleven.” “How long ago?” I asked quietly, standing in front of my room window back in my estate, watching some of my men train outside. “Fifteen minutes.” Marco replied. “He’s alone. Probably waiting for a pickup. You want me to move in?” “Not yet." I said, turning from the window. “Keep eyes on him. If he’s desperate enough to sell us out, he might be desperate enough to run again.” “Understood.” Marco said. A brief pause followed before he added, “You sure you want to handle this yourself?” I slid on my jacket, tucking my pistol into its holster. “Yeah. This is personal.” “Copy that, Boss. I’ll have two men stay back for containment.” “Good.” I said.
