Syd and I sat and listened and watched as Amber cried and spoke with Victor.. She paused an d looked up at us. “Can we go to the hotel?”
“Of course we can. Just don’t jump his bones until we leave. Let’s go now. Amber you can follow us so that you have a way of getting back when we leave.” Syd grbbed her keys and headed out the door. Syd paused and shut the door right in my face. I put my ear to the door and listened.
