Ally’s POV
I couldn’t help the gasp that escaped my lips. There was so much that was being discussed that I didn’t understand. Owen is an alpha. Like an alpha male? Isn’t that a good thing? The way they were talking, it seemed like it was a big deal.
I was so lost in my own thoughts that I didn’t notice that Syd and Amber had gone silent. By the time I tried listening in on them again they had stopped speaking. I decided I was going to just get up and pretend that I hadn’t just snooped on their conversation. I rolled over and both of them were sitting on Syd’s bed.
If there wasn’t so much tension in the room, I would have cracked up. Minutes went by and nobody said anything. Finally Syd sighed. “How much did you hear?”
