"Come on Alora, you are going to be late. You do not want to be late on your own birthday ceremony, do you?" "Of course not mom. I am just nervous." Alora said to her mom, grabbing her toys and clenching on her mom like the earth was about to swallow her up. "Nervous?. You are nervous on your own birthday?" Her mom asked, kneeling in front of her. "Yes mom! All those people. It's not even my eighteenth birthday yet. Why are they so much people?" Alora asked, looking tensed. Her mom smiled, caressing her cheeks "You are the daughter of the king of i'dingra, the princess of the land, you have power and royalty in your blood, Alora. And one day, when you find your mate and get married. The both of you will do mightily well." She assured with a warming smile. "What if, what if I don't have a mate? What if my life wouldn't be so perfect like you think mom? Just What if" "Okay! Enough talk Alora, your father and the people awaits." Alora's mom chipped in. "There's a mate for everyone, even beautiful princesses like yourself." Voiced Alora's mom as they both walked into the courtyard. In the courtyard, the Blue moon pack, blessed by the moon goddess with prosperity and power, a pack that cared about family more than anything, headed by the Alpha and King of i'dingra, gathered in unison, awaiting the little wolf as she comes forward to celebrate her eight year birthday. "There's my princesss!" King Caldwell, ruler and Alpha of the Blue moon pack, alerted the crowd as soon as he saw his daughter. "Blessings papa." Alora greeted her father before sitting next to him on her fitting throne. Looking at the crowd, you could tell She was tensed, really tensed, and couldn't wait for all this to be over. So many thoughts running in her tiny head, but she was brought back to reality by the loud bang on the drum, signifying absolute silence. "Brother's and sisters of i'dingra. I greet you all!" King cadwell began his speech, putting everyone under his authoritative tone. "It is a great pleasure to have you all here as we celebrate my daughter's birthday." He stretched out his hands to Alora, bringing her down to the floor, in front of the people. "We all know how we suffered in the past. Centuries ago, our enemies, took our lives, captured our children and made them slaves for life! But thanks to my great grand father, we are at peace and can boldy raise our children to become the best version of themselves." He smiled at Alora. "And with that said, people of i'dingra, I present to you, princess Al..." A burning silver arrow flew right into his chest, cutting his words short and bringing him down. "Father!" Alora screamed at the top of her voice, watching as her papa hit the ground. "Arhh!" He yelled in pain. Alora turned to witness another arrow on her mom and on the people. It was raining arrows, not just arrows, burning silver arrows. "Alora! Are you okay. Everyone take position! We are under attack. They found us!" One of the guards yelled. Running and howling, shifting into werewolves and lycans to protect their land from the enemy. They were not match for the unseen enemy and were not prepared for this sudden war. "Papa, mama, are you okay?" Alora said as she tried to take the arrow out of them. "Alora listen to me, you must go now. It's no longer safe for you here. If they find you, they will, take you and, turn you into their slave. Forever!." Alora's father said persuading her to leave. "No papa! I am not leaving you guys. We are going, together." In tears and soaking wet, Alora tried to help but all was futile. She could hear so many things in her head, the cry of war, pains from people, her mom calling her name but couldn't reach her. Clanging swords against claws, screams of children, running and calling out for their parents. And before she knew what was happening, a huge explosion lifted her ten feet into the air and down to the earth leaving her unconscious. HOURS LATER Screams of people in torture brought Alora back to consciousness. But the atmosphere was unfamiliar, the scent little Alora was getting was more different from the scent she knew all her life. Something was wrong. Alora held her head as she tried to get up. But the first thing she saw was her parents in chains, hanging upside down with blood dripping down their open wounds. "Dad! Mom!" Alora screamed. She tried to run towards them but the power from the forcefield shield surrounding her, prevented her from reaching her parents. "Alora" The dieing voice of her father made her look as tears filled her eyes. "Am sorry" He said with more blood dripping down from him. "It's okay papa. You are not healing. Why are you guys not healing, mom?" Alora asked. "Wolfsbane Darling!" A voice from upstairs echoed throughout the room, revealing a strange man in robes. Green bulgy eyes, pale skinned and repulsive. "Wolfsbane." He repeated with a smile, hands behind his back. "Who are you? And what have you done to my parents?" "Not what I have done but what I am going to do darling." Answered the stranger before be floated down in front of Alora's parents. A Silver blade in his hands. "You see, your kind and our kind have been in battle for centuries. Your great great grandfather wiped out my family, my pack. And it's only best if I do the same to his." "You won't harm her. Take us, and let her go, please." Alora's mom said, spitting out blood. "Oh. Such kind words from the queen. And what about you, my king?" He mockingly asked. "What do you have to say?" Alora's father took his time to stare at his daughter, his eyes were filled with pains, pains any father at his dieing moment would fill for his child. "I know that one day. My daughter will be, strong enough to avenge her parents. And only then, will my soul be at peace." He winked at her. The stranger paused for some seconds, then let out an evil laugh before yelling "Wrong Answer!" As he sliced the head off Alora's parents, tossing it towards Alora who couldn't help but scream in tears. "So many pains for a little wolf your age. But you don't worry, I will end your pain and unite you together with your parents." He raised his blade and tried to hurt her. "Wait!" Another strange voice commanded, bringing the former to his kneels. "My lord! What brings you here at this time?" "Spare the child. Death is not an option for her." The strange voice said. "But my lord, she is worthless. She has no use for you yet my lord. She has not her wolf yet. Now will be a good time to kill her, sparing her will only cause more troubles." "I know. But in the future, she is the key to ending her kind." "Her powers won't manifest until her eighteenth birthday. Keep her as your slave but don't hurt her. And besides, you wouldn't want to spoil my plans. We must make sure he gets her when he comes. After all, she is his mate."
