Louis's Pov -
I couldn't help but watch as the passed out wolf in front of me slowly changed into a human. I had always marveled at the way werewolves could shift into a wolf when ever they wanted. Most of the time, without any pain.
The person now in front of me, had short, white, messy hair and was wearing a black muscle tank and grey sweatpants. His ears we're covered in piercings and it looked like there were holes for even more in his face. He appeared to be a guy, at least from where I was standing.
I continued looking them over, that was until i saw the blood pooling around there legs.
"s**t!" I mumbled.
Without a second thought, I picked the boy up bridle style and ran through the woods towards the school dorms.
~~~~~~~~
Once we had reached the clearing school sat in, I slowed down to a normal walking speed. I opened the door, being carful not to hit the boys legs on the door frame and walked to my dorm room. I set him down on the couch before grabbing a towel and putting it under his legs. I then grabbed two more to tie around his legs to control the bleeding.
After making sure the towels weren't too tight I walked down the hallway to the supply closet to get my first aid kit. After making sure there was still some stitching and a pair of forceps in it, I grabbed it and a forth towel and hurried back to the couch.
I kelt next to the couch and set the first aid kit and towel down. I popped open the first aid kit and grabbed the forceps, stitching, gauze and medical tape.
I started by taking the towel and soaking up some of the blood coming from the bullet wound. I then grabbed the forceps and, as gently as possible, inserted them into the wound. I grabbed the bullet and, with little trouble, pulled it out.
Blood gushed from the wound and I quickly grabbed the gauze and covered the wound. Once the bleeding slowed I grabbed a needle and some stitches and began to stitch the wound.
The boy flinched a little and I thought he was waking up. But his eyes stayed closed and I breathed a sigh of relief. If he stayed asleep, he wouldn't have to feel any of this.
Knowing he was asleep, I continued to stitch the wound. Once done, I wrapped gauze around it a few times and secured it with the medical tape.
I then did the same with the bear trap wound. Stitching it closed, wrapping it with gauze and securing it with the medical tape.
After I was done I took the blood soaked towels and throw them outside to be burned later, then put away the first aid kit.
I looked at the boy one more time. Having seen his wounds, I knew he was gonna need food, and a lot of it. Werewolves may heal fast, but that takes a lot of energy. So, they need a lot of food and sleep to gain that energy back.
I scavenged the fridge and cabinets for what ever I could fine. I'd had to heal a lot of ceatures recently with Black and his goons running around. The damage I did should keep him down for awhile. But, knowing him, he'd be back, despite my threats to tear him limb from limb.
I'd threatened him before, but he learned the the first few were all idle threats. He'd soon learn that this one, wasn't....
I was tired of his s**t. Tired if saving and patching up supernatural after supernatural, especially when it should be this damn schools job. Tired of seeing people hurt. One can only take so much before they snap and I had hit that point. This kid was the last straw. In my 1,067 years on this earth I had never seen a hunter so persistent. It was starting to get really annoying.
I finished up the food, just a simple burger and fries. It wasn't much, but I would hold him over 'till he could get back to where ever he came from.
I put the plate in the microwave to keep it warm until he woke up and sat downin my chair with a book.
I had read 4 chapters by the time the wolf boy had woken up. He groaned and slowly opened his eyes. I never noticed there golden color 'till then and they were beautiful.
I shook the though form my head when he tried to sit up and failed when his leg began to hurt.
"Ye, that's gonna hurt for a few hours till your fully healed." The bit jumped at my words. His head snapped to look towards me.
Jasper's Pov -
I woke up on a comfy surface that wasn't my bed, but a couch. Not knowing where the hell I was, I questioned then man sitting in the chair across room from me before my brain could register who it was. It was Louis, the vampire that had saved me. I visibly relaxed when I realised it was him.
"Sorry, don't answer that. Let me guess, I'm on your dorm room, on your couch and it looks like you patched me up and is that" I sniffed the air for a moment. "A cheese burger I smell?" I said, smelling the air again.
He laughed for a moment. "You wolves really do have good noises. But, yes, that is a cheese burger you smell. I figured you'd be hungry, so I found want I Could and made something quickly." Louis said as he got up and walked to the little kitchen area.
He took the burger out of the microwave and brought it to me. My mouth watered at just the smell or it. And, I admit, I was really hungry.I Took the plate from him and ate the burger in about five bites. Louis just ignored me and sat back down in his chair with his book.
And, I guess I was right, he was hot. Then again most vampires are, it's in the DNA. From his perfect skin to the way his hair perfectly frames his face and how his beautiful blue eyes that sparkled I the afternoon sun. Then again he could literally kill me in like, five seconds flat. So, I pushed my thoughts to the side and finished the food he gave me.
Wiping my hands in my shirt, I stood up, with some pain and a limp, and went to fine the garbage to through my plate away. I guess Louis saw me struggle, because he was there next to me and taking the plate before I could even blink. I had honestly forgotten how fast vampires were.
"You really shouldn't be walking. Your legs are still healing. I mean, I know you wolves heal fast but still, you wouldn't want them to heal wrong or something." Louis said very awkwardly.
I deadpaned. I hated when people took pity on me or tried to tell me what to do, it's my nature. "Thank you for fixing me up, but I can take care of myself, thank you Very much. I don't need some Vamp telling me what to do. Plus, it already almost healed." malice slowly leaked into my voice as I talked. I wasn't necessarily mad at him, more at myself for not being able to get away from black and needing to be saved.
Louis Looked taken aback by my words and I mentally slapped myself for being so harsh. I took a deep breath and tried to gather my thoughts and apologie, but Louis beat me too it.
"You don't need to apologize Jasper. I get it, being a werewolf, you need to protect yourself, especially with a pack hihierarchy." he said sympathy laced in his voice.
I sighed, pinching the bridge of my nose. "You know, you really gotta stop reading my thoughts. It's pretty intrusive."
"Sorry, force of habit." Louis uttered, rubbing the back of his neck.
"Whatever." I laughed a little. "Well I better get back to my dorm, so maybe I'll see ya' round."
We exchanged goodbyes and waved to each other as I exited from his dorm. As I walked down the hallway, I passed many people, but all them ignored me as usual. That's one of the consequences of not being in the pack. Your left alone without any protection or anyone to help. But now I had someone, a friend, whether I liked it or not, he had helped me and I was going to return the favor eventually.
I walk into my dorm room, shutting the door behind me. I walked into my room and fell on my bed, exhausted from the chase and my body's healing process; not even worrying about getting my piercings back in. I fell asleep not long after, ready for that day to be over.
