TWELVE

3034 Words

Zion is very displeased. In fact, displeased is an understatement. He is pissed. He had left his base for a few measly months and had come back to see that everything has gone to hell. If the woman had not already electrocuted Gorge to death, he would have done it himself. The audacity of the fool to get hold of such a valuable prisoner and not keep her in waiting for him. Even worse, to try to engineer her death before he could get here. He is lucky to have gotten a comparably easy death, because he would have killed him slowly and torturously in front of everyone. Rather, his anger has no place to go as he listens to the whimpering excuses of the rest of the men conveniently pinning the blame on dead Gorge. Secondly, it shames him to be the leader of such cowardly men. Raiders indeed.
