Dahlia woke up in an unusually good mood today. For a while, she had entertained going out into the village but she had ended up discarding the idea. After her recent episode that she had fully expected the people to remember what a monster they have admitted into their midst, and to the shock of her life had received warmth and concern instead, the situation almost feels... delicate and breakable. She remembers Claire's words as she had come forward from amongst the crowd of people with a wide smile.
"We are a family now." She had said proudly. "And when the Undaunted take you in, it is for life."
