dress fitting

"Look at our hard work. That was us. We always talked about this since we were three, and look at us now, living our dream," I say with tears in my eyes. We hear a commotion outside, and we decide to go out but are not ready for what we see. In my living room stood Hawk, scolding his sisters for turning their phones off, and my sister yelling at him that it's impolite to make a scene at someone else's house. "What is going on here?" I ask as I exit my room. All eyes fall on Mia and me.I crossed my arms and looked at Hawk. He looked at me with his mouth open and realized he was staring at me. "I was scolding my sisters for turning their phones off, and then your sister scolded me for yelling at them in our home," he said. "Their phones were off because this is a girls' night s***h fitting for the wedding, and last but not least, this is my flat, not my sister's, so you should be apologizing to me and your sister," I said matter-of-factly, and he just stared at me, and his mouth opened and shut, and he snapped out of his daze. "You will not tell me what to say or do with my sisters. I thought this was Willow's flat. Knox did not tell me that it was yours when I asked him," he said, and I was getting mad at this man for his rudeness. "How about you leave, and you can sort this out with your sisters when their night is over, or better yet, tomorrow? They're adults, not kids anymore." I say with attitude, "Donate that attitude to me when it comes to my ugly duckling family." He says, and everyone gasps at him, and by the look in his eyes, he saw he f****d up because everyone in this room will hit him with something. Everyone here has always been protective when it was me he insulted ever since he started. "How dare you call my best friend that?" Mia starts. You've got some nerve calling my sister that to her face again. You're the cause of it all. She was so depressed and self-aware since we were children; she even tried to take her own life. "I stopped Willow with that last part. Enute, why don't you leave and leave us alone? This is my flat, and you will not insult me. I should ask security to remove you from my flat at once, but I think you know the way out, don't you? "I ask him, and he stares at me, and he turns to leave but looks back at me and says one last thing: 'Sorry, Bella, for insulting you; that was not my intention.' "He says and leaves. The rest of the night goes on without a single problem. We all try on our dresses and shoes; everything is perfect, even Mia's second dress. It's a spaghetti-strap, short-fitted lace dress that has cups for her boobs, like a corset-type bodice, and our dresses are short as well. We have, like, mini cocktail dresses; the top is form-fitting, and the bottom is flowing and light and ends mid-thigh. Our shoes match each dress perfectly; we don't have to switch shoes.
