Alpha Blake and I hurried to the main hall. My eyes widened in shock when I saw Nolan holding his sister Cathy in his arms. She was crying and howling as she tried to free herself. Smudges of her black kohl ran down her cheeks.
“Leave me, Nolan!” she shouted, thrashing her limbs in his grasp.
Omegas and other warriors had gathered in the hall, seeing the drama unfold. The curiosity on their faces turned to fear mixed with hatred when they saw me.
“What’s going on?” Alpha Blake’s growl was enough to quiet everyone.
