Chapter 50

1160 Words

Maeve As Tate had called Alpha Blake for some work, I went to visit Kai. When I reached there, I couldn’t hold in my tears. Though, being a werewolf, his wounds were healing pretty fast, I hated to see him terribly wounded. Most of his injuries were now red scars. The blood around his neck had caked and I could see the circle of the bruise. The doctor who was attending him said, “He’s lost a lot of blood. I think it’ll take a few hours for him to recuperate.” “I see,” I replied. “I hope there are no infections.” Werewolves were prone to infections if their wounds were not treated properly. “There won’t be any,” he replied. “Kai is a strong werewolf and has fought it well. But he needs to rest. He fought fiercely with the Mist Wolves, and it took them a long time to take him prisoner.”
