I dug my fingernails into Alpha Blake’s neck when I heard Cathy accusing me. She was the one who encouraged me and said I’d made a good decision, and now she was condemning me? Her hypocrisy was at a new level.
“If that’s the case, then Alpha Blake will be humiliated in front of his pack,” Percy hissed.
“Yes, I’m going to force him to marry Cathy,” Elder Conrad replied. “I won’t accept the king’s humiliation.” After a pause, he said, “Cathy, be ready. The Shaman is right here. Let’s just wait for Alpha Blake.”
