Chapter 1: The other world

Tommy POV
I felt myself falling? I open my eyes catching myself before I hit the ground..I looked around, several people were freaking out, just where are we? by the looks of it, in some kind of forest, but the ground we were on..wasn't grass...it was Blackstone!? I try to calm myself down, I looked around, the Blackstone and quartz was a spawn point
"Screw this! I'm leaving!" a man around 30 said his tone heavy and angry "no! you can't! we must stay together!" a female spoke out, she was quite feminine and petite, as if she was like me...I could see the bruises on her, "did I ask for your opinion!? I'm going home! anyone that wants to follow come now!" he walked away at least 19 people followed behind him, as they headed away from spawn, at least 20 of us were left, "...well that was um.. interesting?" a little boy spoke out, "I'm going to do the same, come with me, we might find a village nearby" a elder man, possibly around 50, spoke up, he started walking away, with 13 following behind him, at least 7 of us were left
I looked around, at where we were, the grass wet, meaning it rained recently, meaning the soil is good, plenty trees for building, and I could see a stream of water, this is basically a perfect place.. was that intentional?
"w-what about we stay here?" a timid voice caught our attention, "I'm sorry! it's just we have everything we need here.." I nodded confirming him "indeed, we have the trees for wood, protection and has food in it, the grass is wet meaning good soil, and a stream nearby" I spoke out pointing at everything "oh..I was just saying that we don't know whats out there..but I guess that too"
I shrug it off, "so! who can build?" I say as two people hand rise "I guess we can?" I nodded "cool! go cut down a tree! and use the wood to build a wall around us, I'll go mining, the rest look for stuff for a fire!" I say as everyone nodded or shrugged
I grab my pickaxe out of my bag that everyone had it was a starting bag, I followed the stream coming across an opening in the side of a hill, I walked over and inside, using torches to light the way, as I started mining cobblestone and a few coal and iron pieces
i walked back to the area everyone else was, the wall was starting to be built, a lot of trees gone, the spawn area was at the far back, near the stream, I helped the builders by adding cobblestone to strengthen it, I use my axe to cut down more trees and re-planted as I continue putting the wall up, making sure it was huge enough that went 100 blocks out and 300 blocks wide, it went through the stream as well, with a opening in the middle of the wall I use the iron I mined to make iron bars and put them down in it
everyone was inside, it was a huge space and a few had picked a spot for the farms which wad near the stream on both sides of the spawn, I walk over to the crafting table as I make a lectern that i had with the stuff I had in my bag, I put it on the spawn, right in the middle
I walked over to the wall and started making watch towers, in each corner making sure it was all equal in size, width, etc
we had a few wood left, I used it to make a temporary home for us all, it wasn't as big but it was perfect, I grabbed some iron as I used it to make Shears I walk out shearing some sheep I saw in the distance and cut down one more tree, as I walked back, putting the iron bars back where they were
I crafted at least 4 beds, I put them in the house as it was turning nightfall "okay! I made four beds, some will have to share, you what's your name?" I pointed to one that had a kid with her "..uh I'm Jamie and this is Royce.." I nodded as I walk over to a bed "this is yours! next" I say as I looked at an early lady "I'm Candice Swanepoel.." I nodded as I pointed at the bed next to Jamie and Royce "this is yours," I say softly 4 more left excluding myself "I'm Harrison, these are my sisters Ava 5, Devine 14 and Vicki 14" I nodded, "they all can share a bed and you have one to yourself unless Ava wants to sleep with you, I'll keep look out" I say as they all laid down on there beds I walked out closing the door behind me as I keep watch
I heard the door open as Harrison walked out "you alright? you sure you want to keep watch?" I nodded "I'm fine and I'm sure I'll keep watch" I say my eyes flicking around at everything "you sure? you can sleep with me if you want" I looked at him "your not taking no for an answer are you?" I say as he grinned "nope!" I sigh as I followed him inside, closing the door behind me
Harrison laid down on the bed as I laid in next to him, my shoes on the floor to the side of the bed, I relaxed a little bit "night uh.. what's your name? I didn't catch it" I looked over at Harrison he had messy hair, yellow eyes and vertigo skin, with ear piercings and a tattoo on his neck, his muscles visible, he was...quite pretty not going to lie "I never threw it, I.. I'm Tommy"
he smirked "nice to meet you Tommy! it's late we must get to bed" I nodded, I noticed that he had an accent.. Australian? British one of the two, I lay my head on the pillow as I immediately fell asleep...
I felt something warm, bring me closer, I snuggling up into it
I felt like I was protected...safe.. and loved for the first time..in a long time
