Departure

"Mommy, welcome home. How was work?" my 4 year old a son Aldrix run up to me after getting inside the house. I squat down to pick him up and he gave me a peck on my cheeks.

"Mommy is very tired today sweetie, can you please give mommy a kiss and a hug?" I looked at hit with a pleading eyes, my son chuckled at me and he gave me a very warm hug. All my stress and tiredness are all gone.

I smiled at him and carried him to the living room. I played with him in the couch. My son has a lively personality but he's a bit matured for his actual age.

"Hey kiddo, you might want to hug your uncles too. You suddenly started playing and neglected us." said Drace and Kalex chimed in. I laughed at them. How can they blame a child.

My son shot them an apologetic look then jumped from the couch and went up to his uncles. He then gave them his warm hug.

"Honey, welcome home. I've already packed your things. So tonight just take a rest. Both of you rascals too." Mom who came from upstairs hugged us. It's a good thing that she took care of my things, at least I can rest easy for tonight.

"Thanks mom, but you know you didn't need to do that. Anyway where's dad?" after giving her a kiss, I looked at the living room and I'm curious why dad wasn't there. He's always with mom and Aldrix at this time in the living room waiting for us siblings.

"Oh, your dad is in the kitchen. While I busied my self packing your things, he said he wanted to prepare our dinner tonight. I didn't stop him besides, I know how much you guys love your dad's cooking." a big smile plastered on the twins face. I smiled as well as I was finally able to smell his dishes prepared in the dinning.

Dad is indeed a great cook, before he took over grandpa's company he was an excellent chef. He didn't pursue it because he wanted to at least repay and help grandpa manage the company, but even tho he manages such a large company he casually cooks for us whenever he can.

Dad, he was adopted by grandpa, my grandpa never got a child of his own because his wife died at young age due to an accident.

"You're home, come come. I've prepared lots of food for us tonight and besides your uncle is also coming." Dad invited us right away to sit at the dining, but before that I gave him a kiss and a hug, my brothers also did gave him a hug.

This is like our family tradition, after arriving home, we always give them a hug and a kiss indicating that we have finally arrived home safely.

"Oh dad, look at these dishes, I'll be needing a lot of exercise after this meal. These are full of calories you know" said our cheeky doctor, while mischievously looking at dad while circling his arms through his abdomen indicating about his so called abs.

"As if you have those uncle. Look at that skinny body of yours. How can that even hide some muscles in them. I suddenly feel worried about your patients uncle, tsk tsk." my son retaliated at him and a loud laugh has left Kalex mouth, which made Drace frown. He was about to kick his twins feet.

"Shut up gamer nerd. You little dork, why would you say that to uncle?" he ruffled his hair and gave him a sad look, then laugh.

"And you, why would you laugh at me? As if you have those on you as well!" he pointed at Kalex accusingly, now that made me and mom laugh, they're bickering as always which is always dads fault. Even dad would bicker with them.

They're so childish. No wonder why my bothers are childish because my father is also childish, and my son is even childish. I think my dad is the culprit. I'm glad my genes were from my mom or I'd be as childish as them.

The doorbell suddenly rang, which means that our visitors are here. Mom and I stood up and went over to the door to welcome our guest.

I opened the door and hugged both my aunt and uncle then motioned them in, they went together with mom, Van is following behind. He just gave me a quick hug and I gave him a peck on the cheeks that made him blush, he's shy as always.

Now I looked over my cousin s***h secretary s***h bestfriend. We eyed each other for a long time and gave each other a head to toe look. She's still on her corporate attire, black slacks, pink blouse and a black cardigan and flats. She have gray doe eyes, pale skin, wavy dark hair, plump lips and she a bit shorter than me. She about 5'5 and I'm 5'7. After giving her a head to toe, I looked at her again in the eyes, my brows arching and we both said in unison.

"Well, pretty as always." then we laughed at each other. We're always like this, every time. In the company or even meeting outside for shopping or whatever. This is how we greet each other.

I'm older by her for a year but we're very close to each other. She followed me here after the incident together with aunt and uncle. She never left my side especially on tough times. And I'm like that with her too.

"So, we're finally going back huh." She said and gave me a smile

"Yes we are. And we are so going to bring everyone down." I looked at her and gave her a big grin

"Yes. An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth. No worries, as your very beautiful and capable secretary, I'll help you make everything will go as planned." we started walking to the dining as we talked about our plans.

"Thank you so much Z, for all these years, you've never left me." I stopped and looked at her, my eyes are going hot as remembering all those memories

"Of course, I can only repay you by going through every hardships with you. Without you I would've been dead, my family would've been dead. It's all thanks to you." she also stopped and looked at me with those doe eyes, tears are threatening to fall.

"Thank you so much for everything, and I need to remind you, you don't owe me a thing." I gave her a tight hug which she reciprocated and we chuckled

We arrived at the dinning hall and everyone started eating happily.
