The birthday

I ran to my room, Why did I let that happened? My cheeks are burning and all I hear is my heart. I was supposed to be happy because he likes me too but... I can't.

I tried to sleep but I can't, It's already 4 am and I was still thinking about my first kiss. I can't stop thinking how soft his lips was--- ughhhh I need to stop!

I stand up and focus myself on cleaning. I cook and bake. I can't stop right now, its just a kiss.

“That smells nic---- What the f**k? What happened to you?" Jack said. I didn't answer him, I know I look like crazy lady here.

“DANE!!!!" He yelled and looks like he was scared on my appearance. Dane step inside on the kitchen and I was focusing on the icing.

“She's scaring me." Jack said while hiding on Dane's back.

“Are you alright? Your eye bags are bigger then usual, your hair is messy, your creeping me out." Dane said.

“Did you just stand there just to insult me?!" I can't control my mood.

“You need to calm down and get some rest, I'll do that." He said and snatch the icing bag on my hand. Jack drag me to my room.

I'm still thinking about that kiss! Am I going crazy? My eyes begun to tired and I fall asleep.

I woke up at 6 pm, I smelled something delicious so I went downstairs. I saw dane cooking with the other arranging the table.

“Your awake! Come eat with us." Jack said and excitedly grab me. I saw Zed staring at me and he immediately avoid my eyes.

“Did you know when you came that was the first time we eat at one table? We never have a dinner together." Jack said while chewing.

“Really?” He nod aggressively.

“We never have a proper meal, so we always or order a pizza and eat it in our room." Dane said.

“When you came that's the first time since our debut we eat home made again." Jack grab a spoon of omelette.

“But Warren and Dane knows how to cook." I said.

“Yeah but it was too tiring to cook after work." Warren said. Now its clear to me.

after washing the plates I went to the roof just to clear my mind. That kiss suddenly pop up to my mind again, I want to bang my head into the wall.

“If your planning to bang your head into the wall, don't do it." A voice behind me. I look at him and I saw his blue eyes.

“What are you doing here?" I asked. He sat beside the pool.

“Because I want to." that line again, he acts like nothing happened. Wait.. maybe nothing happened and all of that is only my dream.

“Sorry about last night..." Oh no.. it's real.

“I have to go." I said but he grab my risk. Here it goes my heart again!

“Y-You didn't rejected me yet..." He said without looking into my eyes.

“And if you're going to... Save it, I don't want to hear it." He left me here stunned.

What should I do? He can't do that! I messed up!

Next day I found my self staring at the time. I wish I could finish my mission here and go back home. I looked at the calendar and I saw the date... Its May 19 my birthday. Its been 3 months since I got here.

“You ok?" I was startled by Dane's voice behind me.

“Yes I'm fine." He just not buying it.

“Since yesterday, you've been acting like that. Tell me what is happening?" I can't tell him... No one should know what happened.

“Nothing really." I said and continue cleaning.

“Is this something to do with Zed or Warren?" How did he know?

“Base on your reaction, your thinking how did I know? Easy... I know they like you.” He said with a huge smile on his face. I remains silent, I don't know what to answer.

“Silence means yes." I look at him and hi pat my head.

“It's not your fault if you don't feel the same. If you feel guilty its fine but Its not your fault, ok?" He said and left. I wish that was just easy.

Jack just come back from studio and now he's demanding a food, he said he was starving.

“By the way Cynthia... Ritch told me that today is your birthday. Why didn't you tell us?" He asked.

“You didn't asked." He look annoyed by my answer.

“Today is your birthday?! You should have said! Let's celebrate, I'll go buy a cake." Dane said but I stop him.

“I'm Fine you don't have to do that." I said but he still insist. Jason immediately followed him.

They all left.

I want to say that I don't need a celebration because I never celebrate my birthday because of my parents always busy.

Jack is the first one to arrive with a Huge box with his hand looks like a gift.

“This is for you, Happy birthday." He show his cutest huge smile on his face. I forgot that he was older than me.

“Thank you, you don't have to do thi---" “Just shut up and open it." He said. I did what he said and it was a scarf, a Green scarf.

“Thank you." I said and he smiled at me. Next to arrive is Dane and Jason, they give their gift. Warren have also arrived and gave me a small box.

“Let's blow the candle!" Jack excitedly clap while Dane lighting the candle.

“Happy birthday to you~ Happy birthday to you ~~" Jack sing and he over did it woth high notes. I blow the candle and they clapped but Jack but an icing on my face. I glared at him and get some icing, seeing that he knows what will happen next so he ran as fast as he could.

I smash the icing on his face and all of us our laughing so jack took his revenge on Dane. This is....

“ICING WAR!!!!" Jack yelled. After we played I wash my face. I saw Jason siting on the couch and holding his gift for me.

“Here for you." I open the gift and it was a Hair tie, thanks hod I really need that one.

“Thank you." I said.

“I often see your hair keeps bothering you so I bought it." He said.

“I like it actually. Thanks." I said and put a huge smile on my face.

“Hey open mine too.” Dane said. I opened it and it was a new apron with a heart design.

“You love cooking so for you." all of their gifts are really from their heart I can't stop smiling because this is the first time I received a gift on my birthday.

“Open mine." Warren said from behind. I open the small box and it was a silver bracelet with a heartbeat inside of a heart shape.

“Isn't this expensive?" I looked directly at him.

“I saw that and I first think is you." he grab the bracelet on my palm and put it on my risk.

“Don't ever take this off or I'll be mad at you." he said with his puppy eyes.

“You two look good together" Jack said and I immediately move away.

“Not really." Jason said.

“Has anyone saw Zed? I haven't seen him since we all left." Dane said. Now I'm wondering where is that guy.

“Speaking of the devil." Jason said while staring at the door. Zed ignore us and just went to his room.

“Maybe he is mad because he didn't taste the cake?" Jack said.

Its already 9 pm and I didn't see any glimpse of Zed. Where is he? He didn't even greet me.

I went to my room room and my body just automatically fell down on the bed. I felt kind of sleepy so I close my eyes.

“Cynth... wake up...." who was that? maybe just part of my dream, just keep sleeping.

“If you don't wake up I'll kiss you." my eyes automatically open and there I saw Zed smiling at me.

“its only 10 pm come on we need to go." He said. He help me to get up, we walk like we were sneaking. We rushed to the rooftop and there I saw a huge white tent with Light bulbs.

I went inside and it was cozy and full of pillows and stuff toys.

“Happy birthday.” He said and sat beside me.
