“I'm sorry sir I don't know you're talking about." I said. He sighed ant stare again at the picture.

“Just tell me why are you here. Is it because of Natalie? I'll send a car to pick her up." He said. My body feels like I've let go some weight.

“Thank you sir." I said in excitement, I can't stop smiling and almost clapped and jump out of happiness.

I went home to tell Dane about the good news but when I got home I saw them laughing with the girl.

“Cynth! there you are! Thank you!" Dane Hugged me and I look at her with confusion. Is this Natalie? Woah she did not look exactly like in the photos, She's better in person.

“I heard from Dane that you're the one who beg the Ceo to let me stay. Thank you." I can't focus on her saying because her face distracting me. No wonder why both Warren and Dane going crazy for her.

“Hey, Natalie have you ever play computer games?" Zed asked. They are too welcoming for her except I haven't seen Warren.

I can't stop staring at How Zed is very friendly to her. Why am I still thinking about him! I went to the kitchen to cook but Natalie told me that she will cook as a sign of appreciation.

“Let me help you." Dane said. I left them so they can have some alone time.

I saw Zed but he never look in my direction. I deserved this, I need to stop this delusions.

“Hey, I heard about Natalie." I didn't notice that Warren is behind me.

“Well I can't say no to a friend." I said without facing him. I forgot that the issue between them are still fresh.

“Sorry... Dane said that her situation are getting wor---" “No need to explain. I moved on already. Besides I already like someone.” He interrupt me

He's saying it again. I don't want to face him because I might saw that stares again, and I don't want to see those.

“Anyway... I noticed that you and Zed are not talking, What happened?"

“Nothing." I said and before he even reply Jack interrupted our conversation.

“Guys let's eat! Where is Zed? ZED! THE FOOD IS READY!" Jack tried to find Jack upstairs.

Warren Sat besides me and across the table I'm facing Zed, besides him is Natalie.

“I hope y'all like the meal." She said. She's so pretty and demure. Dane can't stop staring at her. I observing Warren but he didn't look at her way.

“Thank you for the meal." Jason said. I can say that she's better in cooking than me.

“That was so delicious Natalie, you can be my personal chef." I don't know why but hearing those words from Zed my heart hurts.

“You can't because she's mine." Dane said and they laughed.

“So you just want me to be your chef?" Natalie joke at Dane.

“I'm only joking Love." I can't stop smiling seeing this two happy.

“I hope I could be happy like that." Warren whispered.

“with you." I look at him end he just winked at me with his little smirk that reminds me of Zed.

“So Natalie how long have you known Dane?" Jason asked.

“Before he even got debuted." All of us are silent and stare at Warren but he looks like he doesn't care and just minding his food.

“By the way, Cynthia right? How long have you been working here?" She changed the topic.

“Not so long." She smiled at me and God! Those smile can melt me.

“Hey Cynth, can you help me later." Warren change the topic again. The tension is getting high.

“where?" I asked.

“Don't ask anything just help me." he smiled at me and left. Should I follow him? but I was still enjoying the food.

“Anyway... Zed, I heard you called Danica? She's actually my friend." I don't know what to feel when Natalie told that.

“Yes, she keeps blowing up my phone." He said.

“Well she really likes you, you should try to date her. I promise you she was so nice." I don't want to hear this but my body can't move.

“Should I?" I can see from my peripheral vision that he was looking at me.

“Yes! I assure you that sh---" “Natalie! I think this Burger you made is delicious." Jack said and Natalie thank him.

I went to Warren's room after the dinner, Dane volunteer to wash the dishes, at first I said no but he insisted.

I saw Warren strumming his guitar. He looked at me and smiled.

“What can I help?" I sat at his little chair.

“Just stay there and be my inspiration while writing a music." Ok, day by day he is getting more cringe.

“Then I have to go." I said, I stand up but he stopped me. He was laughing.

“I'm only kidding. Just help me to arrange my recording materials, Ms. Anti-romantic." He can't stop teasing me.

I help him to setup his material and watch him record his song silently. His voice is so wonderful and angelic.

Next day Zed and I still ignoring each other, Warren can notice it that's why he keeps asking me about what happened. I also noticed that Natalie didn't stop Zed asking about Danica. I thought he throw her phone number but he called her.

Why do I care?

I was cleaning the shelf when I bump the vase and almost hit Natalie, Luckily Zed caught her.

“I'm sorry." I said multiple times.

“Its fine, it's not your fault." She said. all of them are asking Natalie if she was ok.

“I'm fine guys, don't worry about me." She said and she can't stop staring at Zed. I felt so uneasy.

“You're bleeding." Jason said while looking at my legs. Maybe one of the pieces of the vase went to my legs.

“I'll just go wash this." I said and went straight to the Cr without anyone noticing it.

The way she looked at Zed, it seems familiar. I don't know why but I felt so uneasy about it.

I open the door and I startled when I saw Jason waiting for me while holding a first aid kit.

“Let me help you, I got you a band aid." Before I even response he pulled me to the kitchen and stared at my wound.

“I cleaned the broken vase so you don't have to hurt yourself again." He said while applying some alcohol on my wound. I don't know but I can't stop thinking about Zed. I remember how he help me with my wounds. I admit... I miss him so much.

“Cynthia... Are you ok?" Back to reality when I saw jason face closer to mine. I move my face away.

“Yeah I'm fine." I said.

Time have passed and he never even look at me when we walked passed. I know I need this so I can focus on my mission but this hurts me.

I saw Natalie giving Zed a homemade pizza. Am I overthinking it? Maybe she just giving it to him as a sign of thankful. But damn I hate the way he smiling at her.

“Has anyone seen Dane?" Jack said While taking a slice of pizza. I saw a glimpse of irritation from Natalie. Am I overthinking?

“No we don't." Natalie said.

“I haven't seen him seen you two talked last night. Did you two fight?" He asked.

“Dane and I are broke up." she said with her cold voice. Her face darken and put down the pizza. She walked out before Jack says anything.

“Great Jack you just hurt her." Jason said.

“That's insensitive Jack, you should go and apologize to her." Zed said.

“I didn't mean to. I just asked what happened last night because I heard them yelling at each other." Jack said and almost cry. Jack run towards me and hugs me like a kid while crying.

“I didn't mean to Cynthia I promise." He says while Sobbing.

“It's alright, just apologize to her and tell her you didn't mean to hurt her feelings." I said. I felt something cold behind me.

“By the way I bought you a strawberry Ice cream because I saw you hurt yourself earlier." he said. This kid is too cute and sweet.

“Thank you." I said.

“Welcome." He smiled.

I looked at Zed but he never look at my direction. I was the one who started it so I deserve this.
