The Assignment

POV AVA

I ran from his room down the stairs with his assignment in my hand . My mother saw me running and asked me what happened . I was so scared to show my embarrassed face to her . I turned in another direction and answered her that I went up to serve the breakfast to Mrs. Lanson' s son .

" Oh..... Isn't Mrs Lanson's son of your age ? You will be going to same school with him so ask him about the school stuff already " . my mom said excitedly.

My parents took the job here so they can give my last two yrs of school from a better school and now telling them that I don't want to go to school with him will be disappointing them .

"Okay , mom " was the only thing I can say to her .

" Mom , I m not feeling okay . I m having a stomach ache , can I go back " I lied to her as I don't want to stay in here with the embarrassment .

" Its okay honey . I can handle here you go and take some rest ."

I went home sat on the sofa with his assignment in my hand . I leaned back on the backrest and took a breath of relief closing my eyes . This has never happened with me before . When he hold my hand and pulled me on his lap tingles went through my body . I couldn't resist my self leaned in for the kiss .

I m not myself since I met him . I used to be firm and control my actions and now I m losing my control .

I looked down at the assignment in my hand , damm this is huge science assignment I have to complete this till tonight .

I went to my study table and started doing the assignment . It has been a week since I haven't studied and completing someone elses assignment was tiring .

It has been a hour since I m writing this assignment and thinking about writing further is already making me tired . What will happen when he will to collect his assignment . will he kiss me as a reward for completing the assignment ? Suddenly I licked my lips and they felt chapped . What will he think about me if my lips are chapped . He will definitely think that I m a sloppy girl that doesn't take care of myself . I took the chapstick from my drawer and applied it on my lips .

I was so intrigued in my thoughts that I stopped writing and leaned my head on the table .

Sleep came to me in seconds and I felt dreaming of him arriving at my home to collect the assignment.

A bang on the door woke me up and when I woke up in that silly position my backing started hurting .

" Honey , the dinner is ready . Aren't you coming for the dinner " the voice of my mother gave me the realisation of the time.

" Oh God I haven't completed the assignment yet and he will be coming to collect it anytime " my mind spoke louder than me .

" No mom I m kinda full today and I don't feel like eating because of my stomach . "

" Okay , honey just tell me if you need anything " .

I had to complete the assignment before he come to take it . I started writing and hours passed by and when I looked at the clock it was past eleven o'clock . I don't think so he would be coming to night or otherwise he would have came till now .

I stopped writing as my hand were aching and they needed rest and went on the bed to lie down as my back hurts . As soon as I closed my eyes to relax I heard a noise at the window . It must be birds that usually make the noise but the intensity of the noise went high making me open my eyes and stare at the window . I was stunned to see Ezekiel in the window .

" How did you climb up here , Ezekiel ? "

" I wanted to tell you a secret Ava".

" What secret Ezekiel?"

" Ava , promise me that you will keep it a secret to and I am not sure if you will believe me ."

" What is it Ezekiel?"

" Ava , just promise me first and believe in me. "

" Okay Ezekiel . I promise " .

" Ava , I m a Fae " .

I was shocked . Is he joking and did he think I m a fool to believe him . Huh...

" I m not a fool Ezekiel "

I said wit a smirk on my face .

" Baby believe me . " he said his eyes showing seceiarity

" No , I don't believe you Ezekiel".

I said firmly.

" Baby , did you felt the magic when I kissed you , believe me baby " .

I was a bit stunned to hear what he said . Was my behaviour because of his silly magic on me . I knew I can never lose my control as I did with him and I looked at him very convinced and suddenly he started laughing .

What just happened now . Did he just fooled me . No not again . I was disappointed in my self for falling for his silly jokes .
