Patrick was thrown a few metres away from the impact of the blast. For a few seconds he blacked out as his head landed on the desert sand. After a minute, he woke up and saw the silhouettes of two giant figures , about seven feet in height standing right ahead of him. He choked and coughed trying to regain his consciousness. Then he remembered about the kid- Zyan.
" God!! Where's he? Zyan? Zyan!!", he yelled coughing.
The giant silhouettes now started to approach him and now he could feel the earth shake around him. Patrick saw death approaching!
Then he suddenly remembered what the vizier said. As long as the guardians see no malicious intent in your heart, they won't harm you and you will be allowed to pass through the gates.
