Chapter 2

Mona was in City M for a business meeting and she met Mr Thomas who is her business partner as well as her Dad's friend son. After the meeting Thomas suggested her for lunch. They went to a restaurant for lunch. In the restaurant she collided with a man with black hair, brown eyes, gorgeous face the same face that she has been searching for years. But the man said sorry and went away. Mona has imagined a lot of scenarios of their first meeting but this was not something she imagined.

She noticed that her lover from past life is with an alpha. She thought that her lover might be married. She was hurt but hided her emotions and walked away with Thomas towards their reserved seats. Her lover and the same alpha was sitting next to their table. Her lover was not even looking at her.

She came back to her home after the meeting. And the next morning she woke up, came downstairs and went to the kitchen to drink water but she collided with someone. When she look upwards to see the face, she thought now after the dreams, she has started to hallucinate her lover. The omega said sorry, then she realised that this is not hallucination. She asked " You...u ..you, what are you doing in my house".

Mona's mom - Mona it's very rude to talk to your guest like this.

Mona said sorry to him. Mona's mom said that he is Damian, her friend's son and has came in their city to attend a competition. She asked her mom that why she doesn't remember this friend of her. Her mom said that after marriage they hadn't contacted for a long time.

Mona was feeling happy after knowing that Damian was engaged not married.

She still had chance to make him fall for her. She was going to her company after breakfast but her mom asked her to drop him off at the place where competition was being held. Damian said that he can go by cab but her mom insisted so he agreed at last. Mona was saying thanks to her mom in her mind. In the car Damian sat on the passanger seat. Mona was imagining a romantic scene that she will tie the seatbelt to Damian and then look into his eyes but Damian ruined her plan by tying the seatbelt. Mona was cursing her luck and then she started driving. She crack the silence between them by asking what is this competition for. He replied " It's an art competition"

She said " Best of luck then Mr. Damian".

He replied "Thanks".

After dropping him off Mona remembered that the Untangled Novel's villain name was also Damian, he was also an omega, an artist. This memory hit her to the core and she contacted her assistant that she needs all the information regarding Damian's life.

When she reached her office the information was on her table. Her company was an IT based company and this was a piece of cake for them. The information depicted that Damian is 23 years old, engaged to Alpha Raymond who is 28 years old. Alpha Raymond is CEO of N Ltd. Co. They were engaged when Damian was 8 years old.

It took a while to Mona to digest the fact that she was reincarnated into a novel. She got the answer why she was hurt when Damian died in the novel, it's because he is her lover and twinflame from past lives. She had tears in her eyes. She would do anything to save him.

She remembered that when Damian turned 24 Raymond cheated on him and in anger he decided to blackmail Jackson to leave Raymond. Raymond warned Damian to stay away from Jackson. Damian gave up on Raymond. Both of their family became enemy to each othe After that Raymond planted spies in Damian's father's company and then the company was followed to liquidation after bankruptcy.

Damian's father died because of heart attack after bankruptcy and when Damian came to knew that Raymond is the person behind his family condition. He planned to destroy them but he failed and was killed by Raymond.

In her world readers loved it when Damian was killed because he has troubled Jackson. A writer's pen can portray a good person as a villain and this power can be seen in the Untangled Novel.

Mona remembered that Damian won this competition in the novel and contacted Raymond to inform his success but Raymond didn't pick up the call. After dialing his number several times he cried. Damian had realised on his 18th birthday that Raymond hates him but Damian thought time will bring them close. But he was wrong.

After remembering the novel Mona bought a bouquet of white lily and some chocolates because both are Damian's favourite according to the novel. She reached the competition area. She was late cause competition was over and she noticed Damian was on phone call while tears in his eyes. People were murmuring while seeing him because he was the hero of today's event. Mona went towards him and hugged him while congratulating him. Damian was emotional so he hugged her tightly and cried. People were admiring them. After few minutes when Damian's crying didn't stop she tried to get out of his hug but he wasn't letting her go and then she kissed him on his lips to calm him down. Damian get away from her because he felt like he has cheated Raymond. He replied angrily" Be in your limits".

Mona said " Sorry Mr. Damian but you were hugging so tightly and not letting me go and I was feeling suffocated that's why I did it ".

Damian realised that he really did hold her tightly so he didn't said anything and she took bouquet and chocolates from her assistant's hand gifted him.

Damian asked " How do you know my favourite flower and chocolates".

Mona lied " I don't know, these are my favourites. So I thought you may like it as well. By the way mom asked me to pick you up."

In the car both of them sat on the rear seat of the car while her assistant drove the car. Mona suggested having lunch together and Damian agreed cause he was hungry. Mona was happy because it was her first kiss. Damian had saved his first kiss for Raymond but she stole it. She didn't know since when she became this proactive maybe because this is traits of the top level alpha.

After having lunch they both went home together. Mona's mom was shocked to see her workaholic daughter this early. Before she could ask anything Mona covered her mouth while whispering in her mom's ear that she had lied to Damian. Her mom asked about what and she replied " That you asked me to pick him up. "

Damian didn't notice their murmuring and after greeting them he went towards the guest room to rest because he was tired. Mona's mom warned her that Damian is engaged and Mona said but mom I just want to befriend him nothing else. While listening to them her dad said an alpha and omega can't be friends my darling daughter.

Mona said," Mom his fiance doesn't love him and can't I try?"

Her mom said it was wrong. She knew that it was wrong so she decided to wait until their breakup. But after that she will not listen to anyone.
